We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.

3. Shipping Schedule

Shipping and arrival dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of airline schedules, customs inspections, weather, public holidays, warehouse processing, or other circumstances outside our control.

Customers will receive shipment notifications and updates as information becomes available.

4. Service Areas and Pickup

Our business address is:

3 Bradley Avenue, Kingston, Jamaica

Local pickup arrangements will be communicated to customers when their packages are ready. Knutsford Express services may be arranged where available and subject to applicable transportation fees.

Any delivery outside our standard service arrangements may incur additional charges.

5. Responsibility, Risk and Liability

Customers must provide accurate names, shipping addresses, tracking numbers, contact details, and package declarations.

Package In A Dash is not responsible for:

  • Retailer or vendor errors.

  • Incorrect addresses or information supplied by customers.

  • Packages lost before arrival at our designated receiving warehouse.

  • Delays caused by airlines, customs authorities, or third-party carriers.

  • Delays caused by inaccurate or incomplete shipment declarations.

Our responsibility for a package begins when it is received and recorded at our designated receiving facility and continues according to the applicable service arrangement and law.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Packaging and Fragile Items

Customers should request suitable packaging from retailers for fragile or valuable goods.

Package In A Dash is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging before receipt, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the shipment.

Fragile items, including electronics, glassware, cosmetics, liquids, and breakable goods, may require special handling and may be subject to additional restrictions or charges.

7. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers must ensure that every shipment complies with applicable Jamaican, United States, airline, and international shipping regulations.

Prohibited or restricted items may include:

  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances.

  • Firearms, ammunition, and prohibited weapons.

  • Explosives, flammable materials, and hazardous substances.

  • Counterfeit goods.

  • Perishable goods that cannot be safely transported.

  • Live animals.

  • Cash, negotiable instruments, and other restricted valuables.

  • Any other item prohibited by law or carrier policy.

Package In A Dash may refuse or hold a shipment when required for safety, legal, or regulatory reasons. Prohibited items may be reported to the relevant authorities. Any applicable costs or penalties will be handled in accordance with the law.

Customers should contact us before shipping any item they are unsure about.

8. Customs, Duties, Taxes and Fees

Customers are responsible for applicable customs duties, taxes, government charges, and other import fees associated with their shipments.

A U.S. shipping address described as tax-exempt is provided for eligible receiving and shipping purposes only. It does not guarantee that every purchase will qualify for sales-tax exemption. Eligibility depends on the retailer, transaction, documentation, and applicable tax rules.

Customers must provide accurate purchase values and supporting invoices when requested. Customs authorities may inspect, assess, delay, or seize shipments in accordance with applicable law.

Packages weighing more than ten (10) pounds may be subject to a minimum processing and handling fee of JMD $250 per package. This fee is separate from and in addition to any applicable shipping, customs, storage, or other charges.

9. Package Purchasing Assistance

Package In A Dash offers purchasing assistance for customers who do not have a credit or debit card.

For this service:

  • Customers must provide accurate product details, quantities, sizes, colours, and preferred retailer information.

  • Full payment for the purchase and any disclosed service fees must be received before the order is placed.

  • Customers should review and confirm their order details before purchase.

  • Once an order has been placed, cancellation or changes may not be possible.

  • Product availability and delivery times depend on the retailer.

Package In A Dash is not responsible for retailer errors, product defects, sizing issues, stock shortages, or retailer cancellation decisions. Assistance with returns or refunds may be provided where available, but the retailer's policies apply.

10. Payments

Customers must pay all applicable shipping, handling, purchasing-assistance, delivery, customs, and other disclosed fees before the relevant package is released or service completed.

Available payment methods and payment instructions will be communicated by Package In A Dash.

Refunds, cancellations, and adjustments will be handled according to the circumstances, the applicable service terms, and consumer protection law. Any non-refundable fee must be disclosed before the customer commits to the service.

11. Claims and Complaints

Customers should report missing, damaged, or incorrectly processed packages as soon as possible after collection or notification.

Claims should be submitted in writing to [email protected] and include, where available:

  • Customer name and contact information.

  • Tracking number.

  • Retailer invoice or proof of value.

  • Photographs of the package and damage.

  • A clear description of the issue.

We aim to respond to email enquiries within 24–48 hours. This is a response target, not a guarantee that every claim will be resolved within that period.

Applicable carrier claim deadlines may be shorter, so customers should report problems promptly.

12. Storage and Uncollected Packages

Packages must be collected within fourteen (14) days of the pickup notification

Any package not collected within this period will be subject to a storage fee of JMD $100 per day, commencing on the fifteenth (15th) day after being notified that the package is ready for collection.

Any applicable storage fees, collection deadlines, or procedures for unclaimed packages will be communicated to customers before enforcement. Packages will not be auctioned, disposed of, or otherwise handled contrary to applicable law.

Customers remain responsible for legitimate outstanding charges associated with their shipments.

13. Cancellations

Cancellation requests should be submitted before purchasing or shipping operations begin.

Once an order has been placed, a package has entered transit, or customs processing has started, cancellation may not be possible. Any cancellation fees or refund limitations will be communicated in accordance with applicable law.

14. Package Tracking and Notifications

Tracking information and shipment notifications are provided to help customers follow their packages.

Updates depend on the information supplied by retailers, carriers, warehouses, and customs authorities. Tracking information may not update continuously, and a temporary lack of updates does not necessarily mean a package is lost.

Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and monitoring their shipment notifications.

15. Knutsford Express Shipping

Knutsford Express shipping or transfer arrangements are subject to availability, the transport provider's conditions, applicable fees, and the destination selected.

Once a package is handed to a third-party transport provider, additional delivery times and handling conditions may apply. Customers should retain any collection or tracking information supplied for the transfer.

16. Amendments

Package In A Dash may update these Terms and Conditions when business practices, services, or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be published with an effective date. Changes will not override rights that customers have under applicable law.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any service-specific terms communicated to the customer, govern the use of Package In A Dash services, subject to applicable law.
